02/13/2019: Guest Speaker Mahesh Karra

Hello all!

This week we will have our first guest lecture. BU Pardee Professor Mahesh Karra will be coming to speak about development policy. Professor Karra specializes in development and health economics, and demography. He has conducted field work in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Latin America, and his research currently utilizes experimental and non-experimental methods to investigate the relationships between population, health, and economic development in low- and middle-income countries.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, February 13th from 7 to 8pm in Questrom’s HAR 316. This is a great opportunity to learn about field work as an economist and the realm of development economics, so don’t miss it!
