02/06/2019 EDS: Carbon Taxes
Hello all!
We were very happy to see so many of you at the first meeting of the semester!
This week we will host our first economics discussion. The topic is carbon taxes and their implications on the environment and economic growth. The meeting will take place Wednesday, February 6th from 7 to 8pm in Questrom’s HAR 316.
The background presentation is based on this very short Forbes article that we invite you to read before the meeting: Carbon Tax: The Ultimate Free Market Solution to Climate Change
We want to thank our member Jackson Moore-Otto, who has helped us prepare the presentation and will be co-leading the discussion. Come talk about this very relevant topic. If you have strong opinions about climate change and environmental policies, the more reasons to come.
