Video Creation Subgroup

Welcome to the Video Creation Subgroup Home Page!

Who are we?

The Training Stakeholders Group (TSG) Video Creation Subgroup collaborates with IS&T in the development of training and instructional resources to be used for academic purposes and staff training.

Topics we seek to explore include how to create videos (available tools, techniques, tips & tricks, etc.), hosting options, accessibility, and other issues/questions raised by group members. It is our intention to provide demos (using both internal and external resources), develop and share documents, and curate a variety of resources identified by our members. We host monthly meetings on the Charles River campus and held our first Medical campus meeting in July. In addition, we attempt to foster communication among our members via multiple tools (Google Docs, Slack, email, Skype and others, as they come to our attention).

We invite members of the group to help us fine-tune this mission statement. Do you have any ideas/comments/suggested edits? Send email to Bill.

Sample Videos Created by Group Members

We have posted a collection of videos created by members of our group . Several different tools were used to create the videos. As you will see, similar variation exists in the platforms used to host the videos.

Meeting Notes and Recordings

We do our best to take meeting notes and record sessions so members who aren’t able to join us can check in and review presentations, discussions, and so forth. Here are the notes & recordings.

Faculty Resources

Myriad resources are available to members of the faculty for academic purposes through the Center for Teaching and Learning.
