Information and Reminders

 

You should already be receiving TodaysBaby text messages

  • 1 text message each week until you reached your 32nd week of pregnancy.
  • 1 or more text messages each day, after your 32nd week of pregnancy.

*Please call us if you are not receiving text messages, so we can help get text messages to you.

Let us know when your baby is born

TodaysBaby will send videos while you are pregnant and when your baby is born. The videos include important information parents should know in the first few days after their baby is born. Let us know when your baby is born so we can send you those videos.

You can let us know by:

  • Responding to text messages when we ask if you are still pregnant.
  • Calling the study office at 617-206-6269.
  • Texting ‘Birth’ to 63141 or responding ‘Birth’ to any of the text messages you receive.

New Phone Number? 

If you get a new phone number at any point during the TodaysBaby program, or if you stop receiving text messages for any reason, please contact the study team by phone at 617-206-6269 or email tdybaby@bu.edu right away.  We can help make sure you don’t miss any educational videos or messages!

Monthly Lottery

Your responses to our text messages are an important part of the study. Please respond to as many text messages as you can. Be on the lookout for text messages that start with a ‘$’. Your response to those text messages will earn you an entry into a monthly lottery for a $100 gift card!

Study Surveys

During your participation in this study, you will receive up to 5 electronic surveys to complete. Please complete those surveys as soon as you can. You will be reimbursed up to $50 in gift cards for completion of the surveys.

TodaysBaby Videos

You will receive all of the TodaysBaby videos by text message or you can find all the prenatal videos here.  Please feel free to share them with friends and family or anyone who will help take care of your baby!
