{"id":26,"date":"2016-08-19T14:08:22","date_gmt":"2016-08-19T18:08:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/ti3\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2017-02-21T12:17:08","modified_gmt":"2017-02-21T17:17:08","slug":"annual-symposium","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/ti3\/events-and-activities\/annual-symposium\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual Symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1st Imaging Symposium<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><\/span>Boston University and Brigham &amp; Women\u2019s Hospital are hosting an <span>imaging<\/span> <span>symposium<\/span> on\u00a0<strong>Friday, June 10 from 12-5:30 pm on the BU Campus in the Trustee\u2019s Ballroom<\/strong>. \u00a0Faculty will present on current and exciting research in the areas of novel <span>imaging<\/span> strategies, image-guided interventions, and the development of analytical tools for processing large\u00a0biomedical <span>imaging<\/span> data sets.\u00a0 The <span>imaging<\/span> <span>symposium<\/span> will feature a series of brief talks in each of the three primary areas by leaders in the respective areas, with the goal of raising awareness and stimulating new collaborations.\u00a0\u00a0Most importantly, there will be plenty of time for networking over lunch, coffee breaks and closing reception.\u00a0 There will also be an overview of the Advanced Multimodality Image-Guided Operating (AMIGO) Suite, the first of its kind in the world, and the National Center for Image-Guided Therapy (NCIGT), a resource that has been instrumental in the development of breakthrough image-guided interventions currently in use clinically.<\/p>\n<p>Keynote talk by Dr. James C.
