font-family: avenir; font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\"><strong>ALUMNI SHORT ENTRY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">The Alumni Short Contest is a juried event with a screening and presentation ceremony scheduled for <strong>Friday, April 3, 2026<\/strong>.<br \/>\nTo enter, submit a completed entry form downloaded from <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/TheRedstoneFilmFestival\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sites.bu.edu\/TheRedstoneFilmFestival<\/a>.<br \/>\nWith submission, it is understood that The Department of Film and Television will work with Disability and Access Services to support access and inclusion.\u00a0 Such support may include, but not limited to, open captioning during ceremony screening and closed captioning available for online viewing.\u00a0 Submitting your application and project does not guarantee that it will be selected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">In order to participate, alumni short movies must the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Movie must be fully produced post graduation.\u00a0 Production may not have originated from undergraduate production course.<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">At least one stakeholder of the movie must be an alumni of Boston University.<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Runtime, including all credits, must not exceed 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Submissions must be uploaded by <strong>February 13, 2026, Friday, 5pm (EST)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\"><strong>FT STUDENT ENTRY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">The Redstone Film Festival is a juried event with a screening and presentation ceremony scheduled for <strong>Friday, April 3, 2026<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThere will be a pre-screening of all entries by a\u00a0 selection committee which will choose projects to be submitted to a panel of media professionals for judging.\u00a0 With submission to The Redstone Film Festival, it is understood that The Department of Film and Television will work with Disability and Access Services to support access and inclusion.\u00a0 Such support may include, but not limited to, open captioning during ceremony screening and closed captioning available for online viewing.\u00a0 Submitting your application and project does not guarantee that it will be selected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Submission must include the College of Communication, Department of Film and Television end credit no smaller than one third screen width.\u00a0 The official COM FT end credit may be downloaded from <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/TheRedstoneFilmFestival\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sites.bu.edu\/TheRedstoneFilmFestival<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Submission process and guidelines must be followed.\u00a0 Failure to adhere to submission Deadline, Process, or Media Specifications may delay submission and disqualify\u00a0 entry.\u00a0 Once your submission is evaluated for technical specifications, a confirmation email will be sent within 5-7 days.\u00a0 Questions may be forwarded to\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:TheRedstoneFilmFestival@bu.edu\">TheRedstoneFilmFestival@bu.edu<\/a> .<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">The submission form must include production crew names and roles as assigned in group projects produced in FT402 Production 2, FT468 Production 3, and FT552 Social Purpose Short.\u00a0 Awards for Best Picture 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be shared by the producer and director while specified awards for screenplay, cinematography, sound design, editing, production design, and actor will be awarded to individuals.\u00a0 Award for Audience Choice should be shared.<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">All projects must be free of copyright violations.\u00a0 Submissions containing copyrighted material (music, lyrics, stock footage, adapted story, or script) must include a copy of the release from the copyright holder and submitted with the movie file and submission form.<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 1.25; font-family: avenir; font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Students may enter more than one project per year, but no project may be submitted more than once.
