We are thrilled to announce that the Technology & Cyberlaw Clinic will be offering a two day legal teach-in during MIT’s Independent Activities Period:
Law & Technology: Know Your Rights
January 26 & 27, 2pm–6pm
MIT Media Lab, E15-341
Since the clinic launched in September we have started to see some patterns in the legal issues that frequently come up for students who work on innovative technology projects and ventures. This course will go over the legal issues that innovative technology projects frequently confront, and how students can avoid issues and traps as they create and innovate. The class is based on the 2014 IAP class Coders Know Your Rights, which Clinic director Andy Sellars co-taught with Kit Walsh, Kate Darling, Nathan Matias, and Wendy Seltzer.
MIT community members are encouraged to sign-up for the IAP course to help us estimate numbers. We hope to see you there!
