Her work focuses on the application of microwaves for wireless drug-free pain relief. Carolyn received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in August 2025 and B.S. from Johns Hopkins in 2020. During her PhD, she received an NDSEG fellowship from the DoD and a Quantitative Biology and Physiology fellowship from Boston University.
