Carolyn Marar, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Carolyn is a biomedical engineer with an interest in therapeutic neuromodulation. Her work focuses on the application of microwaves for wireless drug-free pain relief. Carolyn received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in August 2025 and B.S. from Johns Hopkins in 2020. During her PhD, she received an NDSEG fellowship from the DoD and a Quantitative Biology and Physiology fellowship from Boston University. In her free time, Carolyn likes to craft, play video games, and relax with her cats.
