Authors may choose to have posters printed in either landscape or portrait orientation, but of dimensions that can be completely contained in the square. (A few examples of standard poster dimensions that\u00a0would fit this space include:\u00a036\u2033 x 42\u2033 or\u00a0\u00a048\u2033 x 42\u2033 or\u00a048\u2033 x 36\u2033.)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n You are, of course, welcome to have your poster printed anywhere, and bring it with to the conference. If you would rather have your poster printed local to the conference, you may want to consider the following options:<\/p>\n Delivery to conference venue:<\/strong> We are pleased to be able to facilitate an option for local poster printing and delivery through PhD Posters<\/a>. Posters ordered through their website by Friday, May 27th can be delivered to the conference registration desk the morning of Tuesday, May 31st at no extra cost. (Poster prices start at $34.95, with an additional charge of $2.99 for tube packaging.)<\/p>\n Other nearby printing:<\/strong><\/p>\n PhD Posters<\/a> also has a pick-up\u00a0location at\u00a0375 Longwood Ave, which is about a half-hour walk or 15 minutes by T\u00a0from the conference venue.\u00a0“Submit by 6pm, pick up next business day.” (Please note that Monday, May 30, is Memorial Day, a holiday when many businesses will be closed.)<\/span><\/p>\n There is also a Fedex\/Kinko\u2019s printing<\/a> very close to the conference venue at 115 Cummington Mall , Boston MA 02215.<\/p>\n Please hang your poster first thing in the morning on the day of your assigned poster session. \u00a0Poster presenters have been\u00a0assigned to an attended poster session of one hour either in the morning or the afternoon on a given day, but posters will be up for that entire day.\u00a0Push pins will be provided to affix posters to the boards.<\/span><\/p>\n For Speech Prosody 2016, participants are invited to create short (10 minute) videos of their presentations. We suggest using a screen capture program on your home computer with slides made from your paper or poster illustrations. If you don’t have a favorite accessible screen capture program (like voicethread, tegrity, iMovie), you can download a free 30 day camtasia trial from techsmith.com.
