Allie McCarthy is a 3rd-year graduate student from Brewster, NY. She attended The University of Alabama for her undergraduate degree. She is a member of the PINES collaboration and focuses on studying the variability of L and T dwarfs. She has a dog named Tesla and enjoys hiking, skiing, baking, and playing board games.
