The Low-Mass Star Group at Boston University
Welcome to our website. We are a collection of scientists studying properties of low-mass stars and the planets that orbit them. We work within the Department of Astronomy and the Institute for Astrophysical Research at Boston University. Our research is primarily supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The image is an artist’s illustration of the KOI-961/Kepler-42 exoplanetary system, the first of many “compact multiple” exoplanet systems found around small, low-mass, fully convective stars.
