Ioanna Vasilopoulou, PhD Candidate in the Department of Language & Linguistics of the University of Essex. Her thesis title is ‘Visual Deficits in Dyslexia: Examination of stress patterns and the impact of emotions on students’ reading performance’. Vasilopoulou holds a degree of MA in Psycholinguistics from the same department. Her research interests are Dyslexia, Second Language Acquisition, Educational Emotions, and Psycholinguistics. Moreover, she is an Assistant Lecturer in the same department for more than 3 years.
