That&#8217;s where our Program Roadmap Timeline comes in! This roadmap easy illustrates our program&#8217;s timeline and highlights changes and updates for students, staff, and faculty.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/sisrenewal\/files\/__restricted\/entire-bu-community\/SIS-Renewal-Program-Functionality-Roadmap-1-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/sisrenewal\/files\/__restricted\/entire-bu-community\/SIS-Renewal-Program-Functionality-Roadmap-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1397\" height=\"787\" class=\"wp-image-2853 size-full aligncenter\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Over the next two years, we will roll out changes and updates to our BU community:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spring 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will use a new, more user-friendly portal to access Student Link and other useful resources<\/li>\n<li>Information focusing on student personal pronouns, gender identity, and display names will be shared with Housing to support gender affirming housing processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fall 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Staff will process new student applications and financial aid in the new Student Information System (SIS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Spring 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will be able to change personal pronouns, gender identity and display name in the student system<\/li>\n<li>Students will register for Fall 2024 classes in the new SIS and see increased functionality in the new Student Link<\/li>\n<li>Staff will manage orientation in the new SIS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Summer 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will begin to pay bill, apply for Student Employment, and manage their enrollment through the new SIS<\/li>\n<li>Faculty will use the new SIS to grade and advise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/sisrenewal\/faqs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Program FAQs<\/a> for more information on our program.
