This resource explains the various sections of the Student Center tab within the Student Services Center pages in MyBU Student. This resource is for staff across schools and colleges to see student data such as classes, hold(s), checklists, milestones, enrollment dates, advisors, and contact information. <\/p>\n

\"Glossary<\/a><\/p>\n

Introduction<\/h4>\n

The Student Center<\/strong> tab in the Student Services Center provides information regarding classes, holds (Service Indicators), checklists\/to-do\u2019s, milestones, enrollment dates, advisor(s), contact information, and more. The types of student data viewable will be dependent on security access; some information included here may reflect access for roles with higher level permissions in this area.<\/p>\n

Student Services Center (SSC) consolidates student data from various areas of MyBU Student in one page. Please refer to the Introduction to Student Services Center resource for a general overview, or if detailed instructions are needed for one of the other tabs, please refer to that resource: General Info, Admissions, Transfer Credit, Academics, and Financial Aid.<\/p>\n

\u26a0\ufe0e Screen options and menus will vary by user; please note that displays may differ for you based on access that has been granted. All screens shown are for training purposes only.<\/p>\n

Navigation<\/h4>

  1. Navigate to Student Services Center:\n
      \n
    1. From the Dashboard left menu<\/strong>, scroll to Student Services Center<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. From the Full Site homepage<\/strong>, navigate to: Compass at top right of Nav Bar > Menu > Campus Community > Student Services Center<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. To find a student, enter the student\u2019s available data in the Find an Existing Value window that displays, and select Search<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. The student\u2019s Service Center page will open. Click the Student Center<\/strong> tab to view available data, based on security.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The Student Center tab is divided into three display sections: Academics, Personal Information<\/strong>, and Right-Side Section<\/strong>. Please refer back to this image to review the content layout for all three display sections:<\/p>\n

      Academics Section<\/h4>
      <\/p>\n

      The Academics section of the Student Center tab provides information regarding coursework and academic progress. Refer to the image below for all information and actions described for the Academics section.<\/p>\n

      MY CLASS SCHEDULE<\/h5>\n

      Selecting the My Class Schedule<\/strong> link in the upper left menu allows for the view and filter of student schedule details. <\/p>\n

      1. In the My Class Schedule window that opens, select a term<\/strong> button, then click Continue<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. Select the Display Option at the top of the page, choosing either List View<\/strong> (default) or Weekly Calendar View<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        List View: Shows course characteristics in tables.<\/p>\n
