Creating Blackboard Course Sites<\/h4><\/p>\nEach term, faculty can use MyBU Student to choose which class sections they want to create Blackboard courses for<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n- These course shells are NOT<\/strong> created automatically.<\/li>\n
- Users will have the option to choose Original or Ultra course view for each of their classes.<\/li>\n
- Once selected, courses will take approximately 6 hours to show up in Blackboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Copying Course Content<\/h4><\/p>\nOnce a course has been created in Blackboard, additional steps are required to copy the content from a previous term<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n- This process will differ depending on which format of Blackboard has been selected for the course (Original or Ultra.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Automatic Enrollment Updates<\/h4><\/p>\n\n- Class roster info will start to load 120 days prior to start date for courses that have been set up in Blackboard.<\/li>\n
- Enrollment will continue to be automatically updated through to the last day of the course.\n
\n- Students who drop or withdraw will be disabled from the Blackboard course, ensuring the gradebook shows enrolled students only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Import Grades in Grade Roster<\/h4><\/p>\nOnce students\u2019 total grades have been recorded in Blackboard Gradebook\/Grade Center, go to the Grade Roster in MyBU Student and select the option to \u201cImport Grades\u201d.<\/p>\n
\n- This will instantly populate the roster grades as they have been recorded in Blackboard.<\/li>\n
- Note that the total grade in Blackboard must be set to Letter Grade<\/strong> (not a number value).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Grades can be edited in the Grade Roster after importing them, but note that any updates made in the Grade Roster will not be recorded back on Blackboard.<\/p>\n
