The report can be customized using a range of filters to view aggregate appointment data for a specified date range. The data can also be viewed as a compiled list that can be exported as a CSV file. In addition, the full details of each appointment on the list can be opened and viewed.<\/p>\n<p>Note that security access to the Analytics functionality of ARM in MyBU may be restricted since the reporting includes data for multiple departments. Currently, Analytics access is included in the Department Admin security role and can be added to the Department Support security role.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 10px; margin: 20px 20px 20px 20px; line-height: 1.2; border: 1px solid black;\"> \u26a0\ufe0e Screen options and menus will vary by user; please note that displays may differ for you based on access that has been granted. <br \/>All screens shown are for training purposes only.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Navigation<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/sis-training\/files\/2025\/10\/Advising-Appts-Analytics-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/sis-training\/files\/2025\/10\/Advising-Appts-Analytics-1.png\" alt=\"This image is a screenshot of the MyBU Student menu highlighting where to find the Advising Appointments Report\" width=\"216\" height=\"271\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4320\" \/><\/a>Users with the requisite security role(s) will see an Analytics section in their left-side menu in <a href=\"https:\/\/bushare.sharepoint.com\/sites\/GRP-IST-SIS-CORE\/Shared Documents\/2 - Change Management\/2.7 - Training\/D3 &#038; Ops\/student.bu.edu\/admin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyBU Student<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The Appointments Report is located in <strong>Analytics > Appointments Report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Selecting Filters<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>The default display of the Appointments Report shows appointment data for ALL departments, with a timeframe for the prior month<\/strong> (e.g., if viewing the report on June 13, the default display will show appointments from May 13 through June 13). Filters must be applied to view the report for a specific department(s) or different timeframe. However, if the filter is cleared, another start date must be selected.<\/li>\n<li>Note that data is only available from the implementation of ARM appointments in August 2025 onward.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>End Date<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Select an end date for the date range from the calendar.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If no new end date filter is specified, the report will remain with the default end date of the current day. However, if the filter is cleared, another end date must be selected.<\/li>\n<li>Set an end date in the future to include future-scheduled appointments in the report.<\/li>\n<li>The dates are set at 12am of the calendar date, so appointments for the day of the end date are not included.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Department<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Scroll and select from the dropdown or type into the field to search for a specific Department. Multiple Departments can be selected.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Meeting Type<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Scroll and select from the dropdown or type into the field to search for a specific Meeting Type.<\/p>\n<p>Note that Meeting Types are specific to each department:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Even if a specific Department filter has already been selected, Meeting Type options for all departments will still display.<\/li>\n<li>If running the report for multiple departments, the desired Meeting Type must be selected for each department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Appointment Status<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:0px; margin-bottom:0px;\">Select status(es) from the dropdown as needed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2018Cancelled\u2019 \u2013 appt did not occur due to cancellation<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Completed\u2019 \u2013 appt occurred, with Summary added<\/li>\n<li>\u2018No Show\u2019 \u2013 appt did not occur due to no show<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Past\u2019 \u2013 appt occurred but Summary not yet added<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Standing\u2019 \u2013 upcoming scheduled appointments <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind that \u2018Completed\u2019 and \u2018Past\u2019 statuses are mutually exclusive, so both statuses should be checked to filter the results to all appointments that have already occurred.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Meeting Mode<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Select Meeting Mode(s) from the dropdown as needed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2018In-Person\u2019<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Phone\u2019<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Virtual\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Advisor<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:0px; margin-bottom:0px;\">Select one or more Advisors to include only their appointments in the report.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Given the large number of Advisors across all appointments, it\u2019s recommended to type into the field to find a particular name(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind that some advisors serve multiple departments.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Student ID<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Type UID(s) into the field to include only those students\u2019 appointments in the report.
