Any access requests should be directed to your Data Security Administrator (DSA).<\/p>\n<h5>Field Search Tips<\/h5>\n<p>Each report will require different field prompts that are relevant to the content of the report.<\/p>\n<li>A magnifying glass icon indicates the ability to perform a lookup for that field. A value can be entered directly here or a search can be performed using the lookup.<\/li>\n<li>If a lookup is performed without entering values into the field, a window will display, listing all results.<\/li>\n<li>Depending on the field, this could be 300+ results. To help narrow down the search, enter a value in the Search By field or use the Advanced Lookup option to enter additional criteria. When it\u2019s accessed through the Instructor Class Schedule, the criteria entered there is passed down.<\/li>\n<li>Class Number can be found in the Class Roster page, Instructor Class Schedule, or University Class Schedule reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Combined Class List<\/strong><br \/>\nDisplays full roster of enrolled students for all sections of a course, or for cross listed classes.<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Replacement for the Class Lists report in Faculty Link.<\/li>\n<li>Allows selection of one or more sections of a particular course to display a combined student roster.<\/li>\n<li>The resulting combined roster will include all students in the course with all respective sections they are enrolled in, including student in the cross-listed courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Course Descriptions Download<\/strong><br \/>\nProvides descriptions and other information for courses offered by the University.<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Replacement for the University Course Descriptions and University Course Description Search reports in Faculty Link.<\/li>\n<li>Allows course selection by career, academic group, subject, academic organization, and\/or status. All prompts other than Institution are optional and can be used separately or in combination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>University Class Schedule<\/strong><br \/>\nDisplay, print, &#038; export the University class schedule based on filters entered.<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Replacement for the University Class Schedule Download in Faculty Link.<\/li>\n<li>Selection of classes is by term (required) and can include campus, academic group, subject, instructor, status, or academic organization (filters can be selected individually or in combination).<\/li>\n<li>Displays detailed class information including, but not limited to, class unique identifiers, subject\/catalog\/section, instructors, schedule, location, enrollment stats, notes, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Final Exam Schedule for a Term<\/strong><br \/>\nDisplays the final exam schedule for the entire University.<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Replacement for the University Final Exam Schedule and University Final Exam Schedule Download functions in Faculty Link.<\/li>\n<li>Once the final exam schedule is established, it can be accessed through this report by using filters of term<br \/>\n(required), academic group, subject\/catalog nbr, course ID, Instructor and\/or academic organization. Other than term, all other prompts can be used individually or in combination.<\/li>\n<li>For the term, it displays exam, schedule, and location information for the selection criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Check Pre-requisites<\/strong><br \/>\nCheck which students enrolled in a particular class have taken a given prerequisite course.<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Requires entering the specific term and class (Subject, Catalog, and Section) to pull up the class roster, along with the pre-requisite course information (Subject and Catalog).<\/li>\n<li>If a course has multiple pre-requisite courses, the report needs to be run for each pre-req.<\/li>\n<li>Future updates to MyBU Student should allow for automatic checking of pre-requisites at the time of student enrollment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Grade Distribution<\/strong><br \/>\nPresents a graphical representation of the grades that students earned in a class.<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Replacement for a graph grades function in Faculty Link.<\/li>\n<li>Requires entering the specific term and class (Subject, Catalog, and Section) to compile the grades.<\/li>\n<li>Can toggle between different viewing options, including viewing percentage or counts by grade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Student Matrix<\/strong><br \/>\nCheck when students who are enrolled in your class are enrolled in other classes and therefore, not available.<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Displays a table of meeting times with a count of students who are enrolled in another class during the meeting time on that row.<\/li>\n<li>Upon clicking, or drilling down, into the count, the students who have the time conflict will display.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Instructor Photo Roster<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>Use the Instructor Photo Roster report to download and print a grid format of student photos for a class.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:0px; margin-bottom:0px;\">\u24d8 <strong>NOTE<\/strong>: Navigate to Instructor Photo Roster directly from the MyBU Student left-side menu. Prompts will also default, however they can be adjusted: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Term<\/strong> code for class (ex: \u20182258\u2019 = Fall 2025). <\/li>\n<li><strong>Number of Image Columns<\/strong> dictates how many pictures will display across the page (1-4). E.g., \u20184 columns\u2019 will display a row of 4 pictures. Click the magnifying glass to look up if needed. (\u20182261\u2019 = Spring 2026)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Subject<\/strong> of the course. Typically comprised of the school\/college and department\/subject.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Catalog Nbr<\/strong> of the course. This number combined with the Subject identifies the course. Use the checkboxes to select which class sections to include in the combined roster. The left-hand side of the report displays information from the class roster and the right-hand side displays if\/when the student met the specified pre-requisite course requirement. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Please keep in mind the following<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In some cases, certain types of credit may be on hold or not yet reflected. In these cases, a Message column will be populated on the far-right of the report indicating that \u201cTransfer and test Credit may be incomplete.\u201d These instances may require follow-up with the student.<\/li>\n<li>If a specific section wasn\u2019t input into the report prompt, the class rosters for all sections will be listed by section (e.g., all the students in A1 then all the students in A2, then B1, and so on).<\/li>\n<li>The report will also show if the student is currently enrolled in the class for a current or upcoming term.
