  2. School\/College<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to identify the School\/College.<\/li>\n
  3. Subject<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to indicate the specific area of instruction. Available options are impacted by the Career<\/strong> field selection.<\/li>\n
  4. Catalog Number<\/strong>: enter a number and subject code identifying a course.<\/li>\n
  5. Keyword<\/strong>: enter a descriptor (e.g., literature).<\/li>\n
  6. Career<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to select the Career category (e.g., Undergraduate, Graduate, Law, Medicine, Dental).<\/li>\n
  7. Session<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to specify a session.<\/li>\n
  8. Days<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to select desired day(s) to include in the search.<\/li>\n
  9. Start & End Times<\/strong>: click the drop-down menus to select preferred class start or end times.<\/li>\n
  10. Location<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to select a campus location.<\/li>\n
  11. Instruction Mode<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to specify In-Person or Online methods.<\/li>\n
  12. Academic Organization<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to select an organization (department or School\/College).<\/li>\n
  13. Instructor Last Name<\/strong>: enter a faculty last name.<\/li>\n
  14. Instructor First Name<\/strong>: enter a faculty first name.<\/li>\n
  15. Class Number<\/strong>: enter a specific number identifying a class.<\/li>\n
  16. Course Attribute<\/strong>: click the drop-down menu to specify a type or category of course (e.g., Hub).<\/li>\n
  17. Course Attribute Value<\/strong>: enter specific value for the Course Attribute<\/strong> type identified. Options here are determined by the previous selection in the Course Attribute<\/strong> field.\n

    1. Click the plus icon<\/strong> to enter multiple values.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Units<\/strong>: enter the number of class units to search.<\/li>\n
    3. Show Open Classes Only<\/strong>: check the box to only display classes that are not full.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

      Term<\/strong><\/td>\nA period in which students are enrolled, billed, and academic statistics accumulated. May have one or many sessions. Different careers can have different term structures. (E.g., Fall 2024).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Career<\/strong><\/td>\nAll the course work undertaken by a student that is maintained in a single record. (E.g., Undergraduate, Graduate, Law, Medicine, etc.)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Subject<\/strong><\/td>\nSpecific areas of study at BU offered by Academic Organizations. (E.g., CASBIBiology, ENGEK-Engineering Core).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Catalog Number<\/strong><\/td>\nA number used in combination with a subject code identifying a course. (E.g., CASEN 141, CFAMU 632).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Location<\/strong><\/td>\nThis is used in conjunction with campus to refer to where the course is being taught. (E.g., Medical Campus, London).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Class Number<\/strong><\/td>\nA unique number assigned to a class. (multi digit number).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Academic Organization<\/strong><\/td>\nAn entity that is part of the administrative structure within BU. Course catalog and schedule of classes are organized by the academic organization. Can be a department or a School\/College. E.g., Sargent College, CAS History.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Course Attribute<\/strong><\/td>\nAttributes to further describe courses in the course catalog. (E.g., HUB).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Session<\/strong><\/td>\nA period of time within a term during which BU holds classes. A term must have at least one session. (E.g., Regular, Dynamic).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
