This resource covers the Degree Progress and What-If Reports from the student perspective. MyBU Student Degree Progress presents to students the requirements of their Degree Progress Report, including what has or has not been satisfied. The What-If function allows students to review hypothetical Degree Progress details for alternative programs, plans, or other scenarios. <\/p>\n

Introduction<\/h4>\n

In Degree Progress, students can browse the requirements of their Degree Progress Report and see what is satisfied and what is not satisfied. Drilling down to the course lists for requirements, students can view course and section details. From the Degree Progress pages, students are also able to directly enroll in classes or add them to their Schedule Builder and Shopping Cart. <\/p>\n

The What-If Report allows for the view of the same information provided with Degree Progress page, but for a different Career\/Program\/Plan Scenario. In other words, it\u2019s a tool that generates a hypothetical Degree Progress report for if the student were to change their Program\/Plan. <\/p>\n

\u26a0\ufe0e Screen options and menus will vary by user; please note that displays may differ for you based on access that has been granted. All screens shown are for training purposes only.<\/p>\n

VIEW DEGREE PROGRESS REQUIREMENTS & COURSES<\/h5>\n

  1. \"Dashboard<\/a>Navigate to Dashboard Menu > Academics > Degree Progress<\/strong>.\n<\/li>\n
  2. The Degree Progress page displays. Several actions are available from the top of the left-side display:\n
      \n
    1. If there are multiple active Careers, the Careers<\/strong> dropdown menu can be used to select the progress details of the desired Career. <\/li>\n
    2. Click the View PDF<\/strong> button to open a downloadable or printable format of the Degree Progress Report.<\/li>\n
    3. Check the Hide Satisfied Requirements<\/strong> checkbox to only view requirements that are not yet complete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    4. Further down the page, either click on the View All<\/strong> section, or scroll and click on the desired requirement section, to view those specific requirements.<\/li>\n
    5. Notice the “Satisfied\u201d (green), \u201cSatisfied \u2013 IP\u201d (In Progress, yellow), or \u201cNot Satisfied\u201d (red) label listed with each requirement:\n

    6. See all requirement details for that requirement group by using the individual Expand Lines<\/strong> or Expand All<\/strong> buttons (click Collapse<\/strong> to minimize them) or click the arrow <\/strong>on a specific requirement group section to view those details.\n

      1. Upon selection, the course details will expand.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      2. Click on the View Courses button to view the courses that can be taken to satisfy the individual requirement.\"Highlighted<\/a>\n

          ENROLL OR ADD CLASSES TO SCHEDULE BUILDER & SHOPPING CART<\/h5>\n

          1. The course can be added to the Schedule Builder from this courses page. Click on the vertical dots to open the Additional Actions<\/strong> menu and select Add to Schedule Builder<\/strong>.\n

            1. Refer to the Schedule Builder<\/a> resource for more information. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            2. Click on View Sections<\/strong> (see previous image) to open a display of section information; ensure the desired Term<\/strong> is selected.\n

              1. Use the Search<\/strong> field at the top of the page to filter the list.
                \nTIP<\/strong>! Sections will only display if they have been scheduled. <\/li>\n
              2. Click on the section to see additional details. <\/li>\n
              3. To learn more about any symbols or icons that display next to a class or section, refer to the Class Status & Wait Lists<\/a> resource. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              4. For the next possible steps, click on the vertical dots to open the Additional Actions<\/strong> (three dots) menu:\n

                1. Select Enroll<\/strong> to register for the class.\n
