The following information will explain how staff can use Graduation Tracking functions in MyBU Student.<\/p>\n

\"Glossary<\/a>\"Video<\/a><\/p>\n

Introduction<\/h4>\n

The Graduation Tracking page is used to aid in determining if a student has completed all degree requirements necessary for approval for graduation. Authorized staff can use the page to track\/manage a student’s Graduation Review Status, as well as review relevant academic information.<\/p>\n

\u24d8 NOTE<\/strong>: This resource applies to schools\/colleges\/programs that are NOT participating in Auto-Graduation. Separate resources for Auto-Graduation will be made available to staff as applicable.<\/p>\n

In preparation for graduation, BU Schools and Colleges should ensure that graduating students have the correct Expected Graduation Term and a Graduation Review Status of “Official”. Graduation processing and diploma production is then completed by the Office of the University Registrar (OUR). Refer to the video resource linked above for a walkthrough of the timeline of graduation related activities.<\/p>\n

To view\/update Graduation Tracking for a student, navigate to Graduation Tracking via the Full Site:<\/p>\n

Homepage > Graduation Tile > Graduation Tracking

\nRight-hand NavBar > Menu > Records & Enrollment > Graduation Tracking <\/p>\n

Enter applicable Search Criteria to look up the student and click Search<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Graduation<\/a><\/p>\n

Select student from the search results, or if there is only one possible student from the search criteria, the Graduation Tracking page for that student will load automatically.<\/p>\n

TIP!<\/strong> If there is a need to review Graduation Review Status for multiple students at once, the Graduation Tracking Search page can be helpful. Refer to the Graduation Tracking Search section of this resource for more details.<\/p>\n

Page Overview<\/h4>

\nThe Graduation Tracking page allows users to view several elements related to a student’s eligibility for graduation in one place. This includes detailed academic program-plan (CPP) information including Expected Graduation Term, as well as Graduation Review Status, academic statistics, enrollment, certain honors, and transfer\/test credit.<\/p>\n
Summary section<\/h5>\n

The top Summary section provides a high-level overview of student and user information, including icons to access Service Indicators, FERPA, Communications, Comments, and Checklists, as well as Academic Career, Academic Program, Expected Graduation Term, Degree, Student Career Nbr, Institution, Program Status, and UserID.<\/p>\n

Graduation Tracking<\/h5>\n

The Graduation Tracking section of the page is where a student\u2019s status within the graduation review process is identified and updated. Refer to the Graduation Review Status section of this resource for more information.<\/p>\n

The Academic Plan section displays all plans for the student\u2019s career\/student career number identified at the top of the page. If the student has more than one degree in the career\/student career number, all plans appear under each degree type.<\/p>\n
