Perhaps Spring is on the way after all\u2026with Summer fast approaching!\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to plan some professional development for yourself as the school year winds down\u2026.here are just a few quick announcements and notices of upcoming events for school health personnel, including SHIELD\u2019s Racial Equity in School Health: A Groundwater Approach on May 15th<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>at Wheaton College in Norton, MA.\u00a0 All members of your school health team are welcome! Register on SHIELD at:\u00a0<\/span>http:\/\/bucme.org\/activity\/5253<\/a>\u00a0 Also attached is Save-the-Date for SHIELD\u2019s Summer Conference!\u00a0 This program will not only provide you with ANCC approved continuing education credits for nurses, but SHIELD is now a DESE approved provider of professional development for Professional Development Points (PDPs).<\/em><\/p>\n

SCHOOL NURSES IN THE NEWS!<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Congratulation to School Nurses\u00a0<\/span>Sophia Lapsley<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>Margaret Duffy<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>from Brockton Public Schools.\u00a0 They collected items for a yard sale held at the Raymond School during parent teachers conferences and raised $635 which will be used to purchase school uniforms for families that cannot afford them. Thank you nurses!<\/p>\n
