It enables Teachers to offer a classroom program that has been shown to help prevent opioid misuse among high risk youth. For example, when it is taught to middle school youth, their rates of substance misuse are significantly lower as they become young adults. LifeSkills Training\u00a9 also aligns with positive educational outcomes and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. We hope you will join us in May.<\/p>\n HEALTHY EATING AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY (HEPA) ADVOCACY TRAINING:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Since November 2016, the Massachusetts YMCAs in partnership with the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership (MAP) have been leading a Child Obesity Campaign to incorporate Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) Standards into Early Education and Afterschool programs overseen by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).\u00a0 With that being said, we are hosting a\u00a0<\/span>Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) Advocacy Training on\u00a0<\/span>April 11th<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>at the Best Western in Marlborough<\/strong>! We would be delighted if you could either attend or distribute the registration link to your networks!
