These libraries have been curated to provide you with free or low-cost self-paced training modules and resources to expand your knowledge.<\/p>\n<h4>Instructions<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the learning library of interest to explore its content.<\/li>\n<li>Use the search bar on the right if you are looking for specific information.<\/li>\n<li><em>Note: Some trainings in the Leadership and Management Learning Library will require you to create an account to access the content.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<h3><strong>About SHIELD<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The School Health Institute for Education and Leadership Development (SHIELD) program offers continuing education that empowers school nurses and health professionals to manage the full range of health and wellness issues facing our schools and communities. We offer clinical, management, and leadership programs that prepare school nurses and health professionals to serve as school health leaders, provide equitable care, and build effective student health services systems.<\/p>\n<p>A program of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Boston University School of Public Health<\/a>, SHIELD is funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/orgs\/school-health-services\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Massachusetts Department of Public Health<\/a>. We partner with the <a href=\"https:\/\/cme.bu.edu\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Boston University Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine&#8217;s Barry M. Manuel Center for Continuing Education<\/a> to deliver continuing education credits that fulfill state licensure and certification requirements. Both organizations offer continuing education for school nurses and other public health professionals.
