Resources for Observers
Pre-Observation Conference Guide
The Pre-Observation Conference Guide is intended to foster conversation between special education teachers and the administrators who evaluate them. Administrators may not have experience teaching students with disabilities and might benefit from better understanding the classroom context. This guide can help: it can be completed jointly during a conference or prepared by the special education teacher in advance.
Observation Guide
The Observation Guide is a summary of the five key practices and provides observers with a reference sheet to guide the evaluation of special education teachers.
