{"id":499,"date":"2020-04-26T23:28:49","date_gmt":"2020-04-27T03:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/russian-poetry\/?page_id=499"},"modified":"2020-05-23T10:06:41","modified_gmt":"2020-05-23T14:06:41","slug":"about-project","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/russian-poetry\/about-project\/","title":{"rendered":"About the Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><strong>BU Digital Russian Poetry Project<\/strong><\/em><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>grew out of the Russian program\u2019s mission to inspire learners of Russian to read poetry in the original and to&nbsp;share the&nbsp;love of reading poems with our students.&nbsp;We also want students to be immersed in the poetic tradition, and encounter a broad range of poetic styles, approaches, and forms.&nbsp;By no means, should this project be considered finished as it now stands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project was funded by a grant from the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Geddes Language Center (CAS) and by UROP (University Research Opportunity Program) to support\u00a0Russian Literature and Media Studies to Improve Knowledge and Understanding of the Russian Language in both Native and Non-native Speakers Through Poetry and Literature.
