BIG NEWS:<\/strong> As of September 2025, the Rotjan Lab will be moving to the Tufts University Department of Biology<\/strong><\/a>. Please note:<\/strong>\u00a0both Boston University and Tufts students are able to seamlessly take courses at the opposite institution via the\u00a0<\/span>Boston Area Consortia cross registration program.<\/strong>\u00a0This applies to undergraduate and graduate students! This is a wonderful way to leverage the best of both schools, especially as we are in the process of transition. Another summer at sea! Brooke Winsmann<\/strong>, Ding Xin<\/strong>, and Nikhil Gupta<\/strong> sailed aboard the SSV Robert C Seamans in summer 2024 with SEA<\/a> to collect more plankton for the lab. Woohoo!<\/p>\n

Congratulations to all of our 2024 graduates in Biology and Marine Science! A special shout out to Chenyang Wu<\/strong>, who defended an honors thesis entitled: Establishing relationships between ichthyoplankton and zooplankton: Do invertebrate communities’ impact larval fish size and abundance in the open ocean?<\/b><\/p>\n

Brielle Parse <\/strong>is sailing aboard the SSV Robert C Seamans with SEA<\/a> in Fall 2023 to collect more plankton for the lab. Woohoo!<\/p>\n
