Our lab currently works on these projects lead by Dr. Rothman:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PAUSE: An online class to address depression, anxiety, and self-compassion (funded by OAR, 2025-2027)<\/li>\n<li>HEARTS: Healthy Relationships on the Autism Spectrum: Feasibility and Target Engagement (funded by NIH, 2022-2025)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the past, our lab worked on the following autism-related research projects (with Dr. Rothman as the PI):<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;A OAR-funded project that produced a training on autism for college sexual assault counselors, which is free and available here:\u00a0 https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/autismsa\/<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;A NIMH-funded grant that will collect qualitative and quantitative data from autistic youth, parents and advocates to develop the content of a healthy relationships online intervention, and then test that intervention.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;A NIAAA-funded grant that will collect qualitative and quantitative data from autistic youth about underage alcohol use.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;A PCORI grant that was entitled Building Capacity for CER\/PCOR Participation among BIPOC Adults on the Autism Spectrum (2021-2023)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;A PCORI grant that brought together autistic teenagers, parents of autistic teens and young adults, and professionals to develop a national agenda on adolescent health promotion for autistic adolescents.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;An online class for autistic teens to promote healthy dating relationships (click link that says &#8220;Safer Dating ASD FINAL&#8221; below for free download)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/rothmanlab\/files\/2019\/12\/Safer-Dating-ASD-FINAL.pdf\">Safer Dating ASD FINAL<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yxzosmVd8eU&amp;t=70s\">PCORI Research Agenda_V7 FINAL VERSION 4-12-21<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"responsiveVideo responsive-vimeo\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Research Agenda for Autistic Youth_v6_6.01.21\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/557593387?h=dbf0dfa37f&amp;dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 2018 Dr. Rothman launched a new line of research working in partnership with, and conducting research to benefit, autistic adolescents and young adults.
