Post-doctoral associate

  • Title Post-doctoral associate

Laura Graham Holmes is a senior postdoctoral associate at BUSPH in the CHS Department. She earned her degree in clinical psychology from the University of Utah with a focus on youth and families, and completed her capstone clinical training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as a fellow in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program. She comes to us from the Life Course Outcomes Research Program at the A. J. Drexel Autism Institute, where she has been conducting community-engaged research on sexual and reproductive health services among autistic youth and adults. She currently lives in Philadelphia but looks forward to visiting often once that option is available!  Laura is presently working on my team’s K18 and R21 grants on autistic adolescents, as well as our PCORI grant.  She is also working on her own research funded by the Organization for Autism Research (OAR), and together we’re applying for new R21, PCORI and other grants to further our shared research agenda on improving social-behavioral interventions for autistic youth with an emphasis on addressing intersections of autism with injustices and inequities rooted in racism, class-based oppression, misogyny, and homophobia.  Please join me in welcoming Laura!
