Mission Statement: To conduct high-quality and innovative research that advances the field of violence prevention and prioritizes social equity, community inclusion, and student engagement.
Welcome to our lab
We are a Boston University-based group of violence prevention researchers who focus primarily on sexual and dating violence prevention. We specialize in the development and testing of interventions and prevention strategies that seek to end violence perpetration. We receive funding from federal, state, and foundation sources.

A few of our current projects include:

–a national survey study on adolescent dating abuse
–a two-part community-based innovation project that will improve access to opioid use disorder treatment for survivors of intimate partner violence
–multiple studies to build the evidence base to support the health and well-being of transition-age autistic youth
Our lab has many long-term and well-established collaborations with other Boston University researchers, researchers from other universities, and students from Boston University, Northeastern, and Harvard.
