Inclusion

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming research environment in our laboratory, university, and broader communities. Diversity of backgrounds and experiences enriches research and innovation, and provides a balance of inputs to avoid unintended biases in the technology people develop. Engineers and computer scientists are building the future, and we must work together to build an equitable, inclusive, and welcoming future for everyone.

UR2PhD

In fall 2023, we are proud to be part of Boston University’s Institutional Partnership with the CRA’s UR2PhD National Virtual Computing Research Mentor Program, with 5 BU undergraduate students doing research in the lab. The mission of the program is to “expand the number of research opportunities for women and gender-marginalized undergraduates, including those from marginalized races and ethnicities.”
