Design
The first thing you will notice about Responsive Framework is its clean, elegant, and distraction-free design. This is a great way to engage your visitors that is highly discoverable, accessible, and usable.
The design options built into Responsive Framework allow you to customize elements of a theme with more granular detail than ever before. Choose one of the pre-defined color palettes or create your own color palette. Headings, paragraph text, sidebars, text in sidebars…more than 20 different page elements can be color-customized.
Responsive Framework also introduces premium web fonts—a selection of 10 high-quality professional web fonts in 5 different pairings for headings and paragraph text. These fonts are designed by one of the leading font foundries for web fonts and are optimized to look great on electronic displays. And with Custom CSS, you can include web fonts from other font providers, too.
This new theme also offers expanded layout options—choose a design with the primary navigation above the header, below the header, as a left sidebar, or choose a design with no primary navigation menu at all. Content nav menus, utility nav menus, social media links, and footer links are all easier to manage. Widget management is more intuitive than before.
And all these options are now available in the new Customize interface, which shows you a live preview of your edits before saving changes and publishing the design updates.
