It applies the principles, practices and concepts of\u00a0physics\u00a0such as motion, energy, force, time, thermodynamics, quantum chemistry, statistical mechanics\u00a0and dynamics, equilibrium.<\/p>\n<h4><a style=\"color:blue;\" href=\"\/reu-chemistry\/projects\/materials\">Materials Chemistry<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>Research in materials chemistry includes both hard and soft materials, such as the design of new materials used in nanotechnology such as nanowires and organic semiconductors, targeted drug delivery vehicles and materials in other biomedical applications, and the design of new biofriendly materials.
