Bay State Road

The elegant and charming brownstones along Bay State Road provide attractive apartment residences in a beautiful residential neighborhood near the center of the Charles River Campus. Many apartments overlook tree-lined Bay State Road or the Charles River. Most units are either studios or one-bedroom apartments with a very limited number of two-bedroom also offered.

The Bay State Road neighborhood is located within walking distance of all Charles River Campus academic facilities, University services, and MBTA subway and bus transportation. Adjacent to Kenmore Square, Bay State Road is an easy walk from Fenway Park. The Boston University shuttle — the BUS – offers transportation to the Fitness and Recreation Center and other West Campus facilities and services, as well as between the Charles River, Medical and Fenway campuses.

South Campus Information

A large number and wide variety of Boston University apartments are located in the South Campus neighborhood, which is only a few minutes’ walk to the center of the Charles River Campus, Kenmore Square, and MBTA subway and bus stops. Furnished rooms are featured at 90 St. Mary’s Street and Beacon Street. Unfurnished studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom are located along both sides of Beacon Street and on neighborhood side streets. South Campus enjoys proximity to shops, dining, and services on Commonwealth Avenue, in Kenmore Square, and in Brookline Village.
