Facilities and Capabilities
The Morphable Biorobotics Lab has access to all the resources required to rapidly prototype a variety of robotic systems as well as state of the art facilities to fabricate soft robots through molding or layer by layer processes. Necessary equipment to characterize the prototypes performance and to carry on in-vitro and ex-vivo experiments on medical robots are also available.
Soft Materials Processing Core (SMPC) Lab
Shared with the Material Robotics Lab (Prof. Sheila Russo): advanced manufacturing capabilities for multi-scale robotics, clean room, and soft materials processing facilities.
Shared Prototyping Resources
- CNC Machining
- Laser Cutting
- 3D printing
- Photonics Clean Room
