These observations survey the Galactic Plane in the northern hemisphere from \u00a0l = 10\u00ba to l = 40\u00ba\u00a0 and\u00a0 b = -0.4\u00ba to b = 0.4\u00ba. This provides the northern hemisphere observations of ammonia and water masers, which are complementary to the observations provided by the <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"HOPS\" href=\"https:\/\/research.science.mq.edu.au\/hops\/public\/index.php\">H<sub>2<\/sub>O southern Galactic Plane Survey (HOPS)<\/a> using the <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Mopra\" href=\"http:\/\/www.narrabri.atnf.csiro.au\/mopra\/\">Mopra single-dish<\/a> telescope in Australia. The GBT, however, provides much higher angular resolution and collecting area than Mopra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">RAMPS has completed its pilot period and is now publicly providing the NH<sub>3<\/sub>(1,1), NH<sub>3<\/sub>(2,2), and H<sub>2<\/sub>O data from the pilot survey.
