I started my exploration by analyzing elements of teacher preparation that improve educators&#8217; readiness for this goal. For instance, I delved into different dimensions of field placements, like mentor feedback, which could be harnessed to better prepare teachers. Currently, I am investigating retention and attrition factors for both special education and general education teachers.
