I’m Jess and I’m a senior physics major at BU. Originally from Newcastle, England, I moved to the USA three years ago. I’m also an RA for the Women in Science and Engineering house, and I enjoy helping women feel welcomed in the department. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling with the BU cycling team, and watching Formula one and premier league football (soccer).<\/p>\n

My name is Maria and I’m a senior originally from Long Island. My main interest in physics is in condensed matter and biophysics, particularly where the two overlap. I have just returned from the Geneva Study Abroad program and am president of Alpha Chi Sigma, a coed professional fraternity based in the sciences. Around campus I like to try new coffees, cook, and people watch.<\/p>\n
