He also does work in materials science, characterizing biomass-based activated carbons using FTIR to determine surface functional groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ben Dickens<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Ryan Gelly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Inna Gertsenshteyn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/prism\/files\/2014\/12\/julie1.png\" alt=\"julie1\" width=\"126\" height=\"123\" class=\"wp-image-49 alignright\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Julie Hammond<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Julie is a senior physics major who intends to teach high school after graduation.
