Weicong Ding wins best PhD thesis award

Prof. Ishwar’s PhD student Weicong Ding won the 2016 best doctoral dissertation award in Electrical Engineering at Boston University for his thesis titled Learning Mixed-Membership Models with a Separable Latent Structure: theory, provably efficient algorithms, and applications.
