Topics may include, but are not limited to, human rights, global economics, international politics, international security, international development, religion, and environmental governance. These can include personalizing and humanizing news stories, sharing their thoughts on global issues happening today, and touching, inspiring, or motivating others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We want to hear your voice and see global issues from your point of view! Interest pieces should be clear, concise, and informed opinions about current topics or events related to global affairs.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions should:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be 150 &#8211; 300 words.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contain active links to sources embedded within the interest piece. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Include a Works Cited\/Bibliography for the Editorial Board to review.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h3 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Photo Submissions<\/h3><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Photos tell stories, give us glimpses of others&#8217; lives, and show us parts of the world we have never seen before.
