Below is a brief description of the project she will be working on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sharmaine Sun: &#8220;Language use and perceptions of Asian Bostonians&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"m_5241563474190634242gmail-m_-495977277485548524gmail-il\">Sharmaine<\/span><span>\u00a0will be working on a sociophonetic research project\u00a0investigating features of English and heritage languages spoken by Asian Americans, across a range of ethnicities and life histories in the U.S. In Spring 2018, Sharmaine will continue contributing to <\/span><span>the analysis of pilot\u00a0data, including\u00a0interviews and socio-demographic questionnaires.
