The PABH explores multilevel perspectives including developmental, psychosocial, political, and cultural factors that influence adolescents\u2019 health and well-being. The PABH is committed to building collaborations among members across diverse scientific disciplines to generate new knowledge and advance adolescent health research.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Highlights of research projects and publications by our affiliate faculty, researchers, and students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><u>Research project<\/u>: The Confluence of State Bullying Policies and Firearm Policies in Reducing Youth Gun Carrying and Fatality (Funded by CDC\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/reporter.nih.gov\/project-details\/10790236\">1R01CE003622<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><u>Publication<\/u>: More stringent age verification and other regulatory measures are needed to prevent targeted tobacco marketing on social media (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0376871624014418?via%3Dihub\">Wu et al., 2025<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><u>International collaboration<\/u>: Studying Psychosocial Correlates of Adolescent Health among Middle School Students in Yunnan Province, China<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The PABH Research Award<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Program on Adolescent Behavior and Health (PABH) at Boston University School of Public Health invites collaborations between Boston University faculty members and early-stage researchers to apply for funding to support the development of a research paper in the field of adolescent health for a peer-reviewed publication.\u00a0Awards ranging from $1000 to $3000 will be given to selected candidates who have provided a timeline facilitating the completion of a manuscript that the PABH faculty group considers ready for submission to academic peer-review journals. Please visit the Research Awards page for more details.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants should submit a two-page proposal for the manuscript under consideration.
