This study requires an in-person visit to BMC with your own transportation. We’ll start with a screening call and if you are eligible, we will schedule your first in-person study visit. It will last about an hour and a half including a laryngoscopy where a Laryngologist will take a quick look at your vocal cords and research staff taking various measurements of your voice. You will then be sent home with a voice monitoring device to wear for the week. We will repeat another week of voice monitoring six months later. The monitor is not a microphone and will not record any intelligible speech or sounds in the environment.

Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for individuals, aged 18-65, with no history of voice difficulties.
