Bio:
Jasmine Bekkaye is a geotechnical project engineer at Crawford & Associates, supporting public works projects that strengthen infrastructure across California and beyond. She earned her BS in Environmental Engineering and PhD in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University, where her research focused on the impacts of natural hazards — particularly disaster debris and improving prediction and forecasting methods. Jasmine is passionate about community-driven improvement projects that enhance resilience and benefit the people they serve. Her current work and interests center on bridge and levee design.
