Main lessons/takeaways from the ASI fellowship:
“The most useful skills I gained from the ASI program were through the remote sensing workshops. Before ASI, I had limited knowledge of satellite imagery; I didn’t fully understand what it was, what applications it could have, or how to access datasets. ASI introduced me to these tools and gave me a foundation to start exploring them on my own. As a result, I’m now writing a research proposal for a coastal hazards project in Korea that incorporates remote sensing approaches.”
