As a step towards determining the potential funding source of a statewide intervention, this project analyzed the return on investment and policy benefits of a sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) excise tax in RI. <\/span><span>State-level dietary recall, population, and beverage price data were collected to begin the process of modeling the revenue generated from a $0.2 SSB excise tax in RI.
