We are all feeling the changes around food anxiety during this time of COVID-19. Our Community Based Training partners, as well as elected officials, have been sharing food access resources and also promoting farms in their states. NEPHTC is grateful for the organizations that are updating these resources during this time of change.<\/p>\n

Connecticut<\/h5>

\n<\/span><\/b>The Connecticut Food Bank<\/a> provides an easy to use food pantry locator with hours of operation and contact information for organizations around the state. Pantries within the state can be searched using zip codes.<\/p>\n

The Connecticut Northeast Organic Farming Association<\/a> has partnered with the CT Dept of Agriculture to provide an expansive list and an interactive map that includes farms, farmers’ markets, and farm stands beyond the current CT NOFA membership – free of charge and online.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maine<\/h5>

\n<\/span>The University of Maine Cooperative Extension: Agriculture<\/a> has put together an interactive map<\/a> and spreadsheet<\/a> for residents of the state to locate farmers, fishermen, and other producers across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Massachusetts<\/h5>

\n<\/span><\/b>The Mayor’s Office of Food Access in Boston<\/a> has gathered information to allow access to nutritious foods by its residents. More information such as resource list and maps can be found on the website.<\/p>\n

Massachusetts Farmers Markets (MFM)<\/a> has collected a list of resources that provide ways residents can order directly from local farmers and food producers in their region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

University of New Hampshire (UNH) Nutrition Connection<\/a> program has put together a Food Access Map to connect people to resources they need during this crisis.<\/p>\n

New Hampshire Food Bank<\/a> provides a list of food pantries in the state, which can be filtered by county.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vermont Food Bank<\/a> provides a listing of food pantries by location and hours of operation throughout the state.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thank the food access networks on the front lines of food insecurity. We also want to highlight the farmers and producers across New England who have added ways for residents to obtain food while accommodating physical distancing. Here are some of the organizations around the states in New England that are providing information about food access in this difficult time.<\/p>\n
