Health Equity Through Community Gardens<\/h4>\n

NEPHTC Health Equity Intern, Sam McClean, worked\u00a0 as the Community Garden Coordinator with Maine General Medical Center\u2019s health Waterville Action Team.<\/p>\n

NEPHTC is happy to see how Sam\u2019s work improved access to community gardens and healthy food in the Waterville, Maine region.\u00a0 Sam worked with existing gardening groups, teenagers, community members to oversee six community gardens, including new garden sites in the Hillside Avenue neighborhood.<\/p>\n
