Many enter the field from a wide range of professional backgrounds and are developing new skills while navigating demanding roles. We\u2019re excited to share a new resource that makes it easier to find and access trainings that build confidence and competence in essential public health skills.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Strategic Skills Live Training Database is a<\/span><b> free, curated resource <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that brings together live trainings from across the Public Health Training Center Network and their community\u2011based training partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The database highlights <\/span><b>interactive learning opportunities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that build critical <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/debeaumont.org\/strategic-skills\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strategic Skills<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including effective communication, data\u2011based decision\u2011making, resource management, systems and strategic thinking, community engagement, cross\u2011sector partnerships, change management, and policy engagement. Trainings are available for professionals at all career stages, from frontline staff to executive leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By focusing exclusively on synchronous trainings, this database <\/span><b>supports engagement, peer learning, and real\u2011time connection<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014helping the public health workforce learn together and apply skills in practice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/phtcn.org\/live-learning\/\"><b>Explore the Strategic Skills Live Training Database today<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This resource is free and will be updated regularly as new trainings become available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This work is supported by funds made available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Center for STLT Public Health Infrastructure and Workforce, through <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OE22-2203: Strengthening U.S. Public Health Infrastructure, Workforce, and Data Systems grant<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
